Chris Eagles is leaving his future in Burnley’s hands after admitting Everton are keen to offer him a return to the Premier League.
Everton have been linked with a £4million bid for Eagles, who impressed in scoring a brace in Saturday’s FA Cup win over Burton Albion.
David Moyes reportedly wants Eagles to replace Steven Pienaar despite the Toffees boss admitting he was unlikely to make any signings before the transfer window closes.
Eagles is aware of interest from Goodison Park and the former Manchester United admits he is keen to play in the top flight again.
“You miss playing with the best players in the world,” said Eagles, who has also been linked with a reunion with former Clarets manager Owen Coyle at Bolton Wanderers.
“Getting back into the Premier League is one of my aims and that is what I’d love to do.”

Chris Eagles is none to subtle in his interest in a possible move to Goodison Park but does David Moyes have the money to make any additions this month? Some sources state that Everton are struggling for finances and are more likely to sell than buy.
Former Man United youth team graduate Eagles has a fair bit of talent and probably does deserve to be playing the top tier but a move from Burnley to the Toffees today seems unlikely.
