Arsenal have moved a step closer to snapping up long term target Mamadou Sakho after the PSG club admitted they were unable to fulfil the youngsters wage demands leaving the Ligue 1 club looking to cash in on the talented centre back.
Arsene Wenger will offer €15m (£12.7m) to sign the 20 year old in the summer and will offer the French international twice his current wage in a deal that the Gunners boss believes will be accepted by both the club and the player.
Sakho has been a regular at the Parc des Princes for the past three seasons and has developed a reputation as one of the leading centre backs of his generation and as such has become a much sought after target with the likes of Man City and Juventus also said to be interested in the Parisian.
However it is thought that the player is very keen on moving to the Emirates Stadium to join up with the large French contingent and of course highly respected manager Arsene Wenger.
