Anfield has undergone a major transformation in the last six months. The American owners have been replaced by new American owners. Roy Hodgson was sacked after Liverpool had the worst start to a Premier League ever and replaced by the Kop idol, King Kenny Dalglish.
The playing staff has seen major change too with star striker Fernando Torres leaving for Chelsea and Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll joining The Reds.
But there is still plenty of dead wood at Anfield that here at COS we feel should be moved on.

Simply has not performed since he came from Chelsea and where is he now? He came, got sent off against Arsenal and has been injured ever since. Oh yeah and he missed a penalty against some unheard of team in the Europa League. One thing is for certain he has not justified his weekly wage since joining and even the great Dalglish has not been able to inspire the England international.
Liverpool fans may think you bought the wrong Degen! Phillip’s twin brother, David, plays in the Swiss league with BSC Young Boys and looks quality. The one Liverpool got is just no good and is now out on-loan at Stuttgart. Apparently he is an absolute wimp too who refuses to train if someone has brushed him and would go off with a twisted sock.
What was Roy Hodgson thinking? Liverpool lost Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano and he brings in Poulsen. It feels wrong mentioning him in the same sentence as those two. He is nowhere near good enough to pull on a red shirt and would struggle to get into many Premier League sides. The Danish international did ok at Juventus but at 31-years-old is struggling with the pace of the Premier League.
Has he got the biggest arse in the Premier League? He just does not look like an athlete. Defensively he is untrustworthy. The Argentinian is alright going forward but if he gets out of position he does not have the pace to get back. Currently on-loan at Galatasary, Liverpool fans will want him to stay there.
Possibly the most hated man in Liverpool (after Tom Hicks and George Gillett) after his mother’s facebook tirade labelling Reds fans as ‘scouse scum’ – what an idiot. His form has been awful too since he arrived in the summer with Roy Hodgson from Liverpool. Now on-loan at Nottingham Forest there is no way back into Anfield for the 29-year-old.
