Lille have named their price for Belgian wonderkid Eden Hazard – and that has put a host of Premier League clubs on alert.

The 19-year-old, who has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, and Arsene Wenger has confirmed he would be keen to sign him if he becomes available.

Hazard himself has previously expressed an interest in a move to the Premier League, but Lille have so far refused to sell.

But reports in France have revealed that the Ligue 1 side are now ready to do business for £21million in the summer – although Lille insist his departure is not inevitable.

“In the end of the season if someone is interested [in making a bid] we will study it and if not, nothing happens,” Lille manager Rudi Garcia told French journalists.

“Hazard is a great asset to this club.”

Let the bidding begin.

The talented winger is one of Europe’s most sought after players after impressing at the French Ligue 1 side.

With all this interest Lille will be hoping for a bidding war.

But the article above has made an error naming Chelsea as one of the interested parties. After signing Fernando Torres it is clear they will be using a diamond formation so have less need for wingers.

Lille need not worry as COS sources believe Liverpool are interested as they are in desperate need of out-and-out wingers.

Kenny dalglish is re-building the club and the Belgian youngster will fit perfectly into King Kenny’s model.

Arsene Wenger may have said he is interested in Hazard but is unlikely to pay £21million for a player let alone enter into a bidding war.

That leaves the two giants of North-West football to scrap amongst themselves for the signature of Eden Hazard.
