Liverpool are in the mood to keep spending and Kenny Dalglish and Damien Comolli want to further boost their strike force with significant moves in the summer transfer market. Despite the fact the Anfield side signed Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez last month and also have the likes of David N’Gog, Milan Jovanovic and Dirk Kuyt as back up and young talents like Suso and Daniel Pachecho coming through.

The players involved they are chasing are Ezequiel Lavezzi (great name) and Gervinho (not such a great name) and the Merseyside club also wants Blaise Matuidi to beef up their midfield and he also has a great name.

Manchester United are linked with a move for Real Madrid left back Marcelo as Sir Alex Ferguson reportedly tells Jose Mourinho that the only way he will sell them Patrice Evra is if the young Brazilian is on a plane to Old Trafford in return.

Manchester United will demand left-back Marcelo from Real Madrid as part of any deal to take Patrice Evra to the Bernabeu. Some other sources believe that Anderson may be the subject of a Serie A raid so therefore there may be space to fill the Brazilian contingent at the club with Fabio and Rafael no doubt needing some more Samba Stars to keep them amused.

Tottenham are of course still on cloud nine after their win at the San Siro and such was the great performance from midfielder Sandro, that Inter Milan now want the youngster, also Brazilian. Roman Pavlyuchenko is wanted by Sunderland who apparently are also keen on David Bentley and Robbie Keane.

Blackburn Rovers are once again trying to buy big as they set their sights on a big money move for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic, can they persuade the Montenegrin to move to Ewood Park?

Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips knows his Eastlands days are almost at an end and he has resigned himself to being offloaded in the summer. His following team-mates will almost certainly also be leaving. Jo, Shay Given, Wayne Bridge, Emmanuel Adebayor, Nedum Onuoha and Roque Santa Cruz, plus a host of others who’s contracts will not be renewed as Roberto Mancini gets ready to swing the axe big time.

Chelsea are lining up a move for a young Spanish right-back who you may not have heard of, goes by the name of Hugo Mallo. Clearly Carlo Ancelotti already has the likes of Jose Bosingwa and Branislav Ivanovic fighting over that spot in the team, but the Celta Vigo man would be a long time signing. Talking of which, it seems Bolton would very much like to sign Daniel Sturridge on a permanent basis after his excellent start at the Reebok.
