Manchester United are poised to make a move for Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew.
The Ghana international, 21, is regarded as one of the best wingers in the French League and has also attracted interest from Sampdoria and Schalke.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to strengthen his squad at the end of the season and is keen to bring the best young talent to Old Trafford.
Ayew was outstanding for Ghana at the World Cup last summer and Ferguson was impressed by his display against United in the Champions League last-16 clash a week ago.

Andre Ayew is a player with great potential and the Ghana international has waited long enough to prove his worth to his Marseille employers having spent the last two seasons out on loan to Lorient and Arles-Avignon. The 21 year old speedy winger has helped his Ligue 1 title holders fight their way into contention after a stuttering start to the campaign and now is appears Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on the pint sized wide man.

Sir Alex Ferguson has a number of wing options at Old Trafford but with Luis Antonio Valencia only now set to return from long term injury, and who knows how the Ecuadorian will react following six months out with a broken ankle. Ryan Giggs is clearly edging nearer to the end of his glittering career and both Bebe and Gabriel Obertan are reportedly set to be cast aside this summer having failed to convince the Man United boss they are worthy of the combined £10.4m that was paid for their services, there may well be space for Ayew.

Ayew is the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele and has a great deal of potential and a move to the Premier League table toppers will surely tempt the youngster.
