You would think that there was about to be a mass Arsenal exodus unless the North London side can lift some significant silverware this season. Juventus are chasing Emmanuel Eboue, Robin Van Persie, Denilson and Gael Clichy, which is a tad greedy. Now Andrei Arshavin is being linked with a return to Zenit. The good news for the Gunners is that Samir Nasri has made it clear he is going nowhere and Cesc Fabregas may well be fit in time for the North London club’s trip to Barcelona next week.

Liverpool are chasing highly rated Italian international Domenico Criscito as they look to resolve their left sided problems. Emiliano Insua, Paul Konchesky and Glen Johnson are not the seemingly right for the club’s needs and as such the Genoa man has been linked with a move to Anfield. The Merseyside club are also apparently worried they may lose Pepe Reina and could either turn to Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson or opt to try and bring Shay Given in from Man City.

Tottenham is the place where Genoa full back Rafinha wants to go, which is just as well as apparently Vedran Corluka and Alan Hutton may be on their way out of White Hart Lane. Harry Redknapp is also interested in Ghana striker Kwadwo Asamoah and Roman Pavlyuchenko and David Bentley have been linked with a move to Newcastle United.

Man City also want Asamoah and now have to cope with one less defensive option with Kolo Toure suspended over a failed drugs test. Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is set to allow Wayne Routledge’s loan move to QPR to become a permanent one. Joey Barton is wanted by Liverpool and Stephen Ireland is keen to make an impact at St James’ Park.

Chelsea could welcome Avram Grant back to the club as Carlo Ancelotti reportedly starts the process of a Roma return.

Celtic left-back Emilio Izaguirre is a potential target for Arsenal as fears at the club grow that Gael Clichy will not sign a new contract. The Frenchman’s deal expires at the end of next season and if an agreement cannot be reached by the summer, Arsenal will consider selling Clichy rather than risk losing him for nothing.
