Liverpool are monitoring Fiorentina winger Stevan Jovetic and may attempt to sign him in the summer according to his agent.
The 21-year-old has not played this season because of a serious knee injury but is expected to make his comeback next month.
Jovetic, who can play in midfield or as a second striker, has made 58 appearance for the Serie A side scoring eight goals.
“I can confirm that Liverpool have been interested recently and are following him – but I have received no call from England,” his agent Fali Ramadani said to Calciomeca.com.
Liverpool are reportedly looking to bring in more wide options after the likes of Milan Jovanovic, Maxi and Joe Cole failed to inspire the confidence of Kenny Dalglish.
The Merseyside club sold Ryan Babel in January after the Dutch international similarly struggled for form at the Anfield club.
