Juventus are poised to make a £20million offer for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon.
The Italian giants have been impressed with the performances of the England forward, who played a major role in helping Tottenham record a famous win over AC Milan in the Champions League.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp will be desperate to keep Lennon at White Hart Lane and is under no pressure to sell any of his big name players.
But that is not likely to stop the Serie A club, with reports in Italy suggesting they have sent scouts to see Lennon in action and are determined to land his signature by making such a high bid during the summer.

There is scarcely a footballer of any note across Europe who has not been linked with a move to Juventus but the problem is that no one would want to join the Turin giants at present as they continue to slump to another poor Serie A finish and could miss out on European football altogether next term and therefore all the trophies in the world that the Serie A side has captured in the past mean very little in the present day.

Luigi Delneri was drafted in last summer with the Bianconeri reeling from a seventh placed finish and the new boss was given significant funds to reinvest in an ageing squad and the likes of Milos Krasic, Alberto Aquilani, Leonardo Bonucci, Fabio Quagliarella and Jorge Andrés Martínez as the club spent upwards of €55m but they have fallen even lower than last term and the fans are rightfully not happy and the club could look for a new boss again this summer and therefore it is unlikely a big name player will look to arrive under such uncertain circumstances.

Harry Redknapp must be getting used to his top talent being linked with big money moves and in many ways it’s an indictment of the incredible speedy success he has led Tottenham to. Gareth Bale, Rafael Van der Vaart, Luka Modric and Sandro are all also being linked with moves away from the club but as long as they continue their upward progression the club need not fear any departures.
