Team News

England: Andrew Strauss, Matt Prior, Jonathan Trott, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara, Eoin Morgan, Tim Bresnan, Chris Tremlett, Graeme Swann, Ajmal Shahzad

England received a double boost with Strauss and Swann both recovering from illness. Out-of-form James Anderson could be dropped in favour of Chris Tremlett.

West Indies: Chris Gayle Devon Smith, Darren Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy, Devon Thomas, Nikita Miller, Sulieman Benn, Rubel Kemar Roach

Chris Gayle will be back in the side after an abdominal strain with Andre Russel making way for him. The West Indies team has done well in the competition and is not likely to make any more changes.

England will once again bet on their batting to see them through and will take heart in the fact that they have done well against stronger teams so far in this World Cup.

Their bowling is more of a concern after being dispatched to all parts of the sub-continent by Ireland and Bangladesh.

West Indies can also book a place in the quarter-finals if they win tomorrow and make it easier for other teams as well by eliminating England from the competition.

They will need Gayle to fire early on and Pollard to put the finishing touches. They have two of the in-form bowlers as well in Kemar Roach and Sulieman Benn, and will bank on them for wickets.

Key Men

Jonathan Trott – A steady batsman who has always delivers.

Chris Gayle – An explosive batsman against any type of attack on any pitch.
