Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has told talkSPORT he thinks that Carlo Ancelotti will leave the club this summer.
The Italian boss has endured a tough second season at Stamford Bridge after winning the Premier League and the FA Cup in his maiden year.
And when asked if Ancelotti could be on his way out of the club when the season is over, Leboeuf told Drive Time: “Definitely, I’ve heard some names [of replacements] already and I’m pretty sure there is going to be a change.
“It’s a pity in a way because Ancelotti could be a good manager but seeing the results, the atmosphere and the form right now it could be useful [to change managers], but I think we will have to change some players to stop the problem coming back again.” (talkSPORT)
People calling for the removal of Carlo Ancelotti appear to have very short memories. The Italian led the West London club to the double last term and could land the Champions League this season and is not totally out of the running for another Premier League title, so why are some so quick to knock him?
Even Roman Abramovich is not so pragmatic to axe a manager who was so successful in his first season….would he?
