Emirates star even has Upton Park boss on his side.
Arsenal striker Andrey Arshavin says being knocked out of the Champions League will help his side win the Premier League.
The Gunners are five points behind leaders Manchester United but do have a game in hand and will face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
The destination of the league title could be decided when Sir Alex Ferguson’s side visit the Emirates on May 1, then a week later Chelsea will travel to Old Trafford.
Arsenal now only have to concentrate on the Premier League after being eliminated from the Champions League and FA Cup by Barcelona and United respectively.
But the Red Devils are still chasing the treble dream a fact that Arshavin believes will swing the title in North London’s direction.
The Russian would prefer to be challenging for all the trophies but feels the international break has refreshed the players.
“I think our schedule is not so bad, that is why if we win all our games we have a good chance to be champions,” he told Sky Sports.
“I think everyone in our team would prefer to have more possibilities than one trophy, but everything is in the past, that is why we have to concentrate on the Premier League matches.
“Straight after it was very difficult for everyone, but now we have come back after the internationals and have refreshed our minds and maybe it will help us.
“I think we are in the race.”
And he joked: “I met with Avram Grant yesterday, we had a chat and I have asked him to steal some points from Manchester United this weekend!
