San Siro side interested in top Emirates performer.
AC Milan are interested in signing Arsenal winger Sami Nasri and will look to make an offer for the French international. Arsene Wenger is unlikely to entertain offers for the 23 year old but according to reports emerging from Italy, Massimiliano Allegri is keen on the former Marseille man and will look to lure the Emirates star to the San Siro this summer.
Nasri has been offered a new long term deal to stay at the club he joined in 2008 but has decided to hold off on putting pen to paper until the end of the season and on the subject of his Arsenal future Nasri has been very non-committal stating.
“I’m always flattered when my name is mentioned in connection with any big club, but I also know how things work.
“As things are right now, I am happy here and I have confidence from the manager, but things can change quickly in football, and then we may have a new situation.
“We promised each other to speak about this subject after the season ends. One of the reasons I came to Arsenal was to win titles, and I’m not expecting to leave without one.”
Arsenal boss Wenger will probably have his usual summer fight to keep Barcelona from snatching Cesc Fabregas and will not want to lose any of his star performers but if the North London club fail to secure the Premier League title then the task to keep his best players may become more of problematic.
Allegri is looking to freshen up his attack and has earmarked a move for Nasri who has arguably been Arsenal’s most outstanding player this season.
