Wenger going to offer Emirates youngster to tempt Toffees into swap deal.
Arsenal are set to offer Everton Ignasi Miquel on loan next season in order to strike a deal for starlet Jack Rodwell.
Toffee’s scouts reportedly watched over the 18-year-old Spaniard in action for the reserves last week, with David Moyes keen to improve his defensive numbers.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is eager to add Rodwell’s power to his lightweight squad this summer, believing a package deal could decrease the midfielder’s hefty £20m price-tag.

There is a worry that further cuts will be made at Everton this summer, especially if a new owner is not forthcoming and it’s a worry that has led many to believe that long serving boss David Moyes may decide to leave the club as a result of the possible loss of the club’s best players to finance debts the club has run up.
This offer doesn’t appear to be that great a deal for the Toffees. There is no denying the potential shown by young Spanish centre back Ignasi Miguel but not sure how that would sweeten a deal to sign Everton’s prized asset Jack Rodwell, not least as some reports suggest that Man United may offer the likes of Wes Brown and Danny Welbeck as part of a deal for the England Under 21 international midfielder.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking for extra steel for his midfield and doesn’t feel that the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Denilson and Alex Song do not offer enough in this department for the North London club. Any offer for Rodwell would also involve the Gunners manager having to fork out a transfer record fee for the the 20 year old and everyone knows just how reticent the Frenchman is to splash the cash.
