Craven Cottage star believes hit-man’s return to the first team will make them even stronger.
Fulham defender Brede Hangeland expects the return of striker Bobby Zamora will turn his team into a real force.
Zamora returned to the starting XI last Sunday in the 3-0 win over Blackpool and scored two goals.
It was his first start since September after breaking his leg against Wolves and he now has three goals in four appearances since returning from injury.
And Hangeland is quick to acknowledge the difference Zamora makes to Fulham’s attack and hopes he will help the Cottagers finish the season strongly.
“The win itself was very pleasing, but so too was the contribution from Bobby,” Hangeland said to the club’s website.
“It was his first start for a long while, but you wouldn’t have guessed – from the off he looked like he meant business.
“He’s scored a few since coming back into contention and that’s great news for everyone.
“Hopefully he can kick on and score a few more to finish the season strongly.
“He’s made the impact we all hoped he would and has shown exactly what we have missed while he has been on the sidelines.
“There’s no question that his goals and all-round play bring a lot to this team – he’s a fantastic player and it’s good to have him back.
