White Hart Lane club to make Estádio do Dragão star their first summer signing.
FC Porto striker Hulk wants to move to the Premier League according to his agent Teodoro Fonseca.
This leaves Tottenham Hotspur as the most likely destination as they try and end their search for a new striker.
Manager Harry Redknapp is desperately looking for a hit-man and had bids for Luis Fabiano, Giuseppe Rossi and Sergio Aguerro turned down in January.
Hulk has been in excellent form this season scoring 21 goals in 23 games and is valued at £27million by the Portuguese club.
But Spurs will face competition from Manchester United and Newcastle United to capture the 24-year-old’s signbature.
His agent revealed the striker would jump at the chance to play in England.
“Hulk will only leave Porto for a major club with the goal of being the champions and it’s not easy to find such a club,” Fonseca told TSF.
“But he would really like it in England where the clubs pay players very well. But at the moment there no are firm offers in place.”
