Villa Park boss wants Emirates pair despite agent dismissing reports.
Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier still wants to sign Arsenal midfield duo Tomas Rosicky and Denilson despite agent Pavel Paska dismissing reports.
The Frenchman wants to bring the pair to Villa Park as Gunners counterpart Arsene Wenger plans a summer clearout.
Arsenal value the players at £16million, but could also be joined by Andrey Arshavin, Manuel Almunia and Gael Clichy leaving the Emirates.
Brazilian Denilson has struggled to get first-team action this season with the emergence of Jack Wilshere and will slip further down the pecking order once Emmanuel Frimpong fully recovers from a knee injury.
Rosicky has never fully recovered from his battle with injury and with his contract set to expire next season, Wenger wants to cash in on him now.
But the Czech international’s agent has played down reports Rosicky is leaving Arsenal but does admit negotiations over a new contract have been shelved.
“There are have been many false rumours circulating, but at the moment, there is nothing concrete,” Paska told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“It has been quite some time since I have heard from [Arsene] Wenger.
“Therefore, there is no new news, and if there is a change, he will be the first to communicate this.”
