Anfield legend predicts a feelgood factor will help the club start next season strong.
Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher is expecting more big-money arrivals this summer to help the Reds continue their upturn in form.
In January, manager Kenny Dalglish replaced Chelsea-bound Fernando Torres with Andy Carroll from Newcastle United and Luis Suarez from Ajax.
The transfer deals added to the sense of optimism surrounding the club since Dalglish replaced Roy Hodgson and John W Henry bought the club from Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
There has been constant speculation linking Liverpool with several big name players, notably wingers and left-backs, and Carragher predicts there will be new additions to the squad.
“I think there will be a feelgood factor going into the summer and the start of next season,” Carragher said.
“As players we have to look after ourselves and do our own job but we are like supporters as well, we love to see top players coming to the club and hopefully that will be the case.
“Everyone is delighted with the business we did in January and hopefully similar things will happen in the summer.”
