Anfield target heading for La Liga move.
Liverpool look set to miss out on Turkish winger Arda Turan as the player looks set for a move to La Liga in the Summer.
Both Valencia and Atletico Madrid are hot on the heels of the 24-year-old Turkey International, who has appeared 43 times for his country, scoring 11 goals.
The Galatasaray skipper has made his desire to move to Liverpool no secret, having previously stated that his dream is to move to Anfield however despite this, Liverpool have failed to make apparant interest serious by making a move for the player.
Many clubs have shown an interest in Turan and a move has been on the cards for a while now, with the player now reportidly willing to leave the club he joined in 2003 in a bid to further his career.
Atletico Madrid are keen to add quality to their squad in a bid to retain a European spot whereas Valencia are keen to bloster their attack for next season’s Champions League and both clubs look set to do battle for the player’s signature whos asking-price is thought to be between €12-15m.
The news will come as a blow to many Liverpool fans, who hoped to see the player arrive to Anfield following impressive performances on both the international and European stages, added to his willingness to move to Anfield.
