San Siro hero wants to move to the Bernabeu.
Inter Milan manager Leonardo has discussed with Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho the possibility of a swap deal for defender Maicon and midfielder Kaka.
Maicon, 29, has never hidden his ambition to play under Jose Mourinho once again, after their time together at the San Siro, and would love a move to the Bernabeu.
Mourinho is keen to be reunited with his former right-back and is happy to cut his losses with Kaka.
Leonardo is aware of the interest from Manchester United and Chelsea in their influential playmaker Wesley Sneijder and wants Kaka as his replacement according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
But the deal could be complicated by Kaka’s history with rivals AC Milan and Inter chairman Massimo Moratti is not convinced the swap will be completed.
It is also expected Inter will have to pay cash as well as Maicon to capture the signature of Kaka.
