Emirates boss will please fans with big-money moves.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will move to appease the Gunners fans by splashing out £60million on big-name signings to spearhead his push for the Premier League title.
Having missed out on Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones to Manchester United, the Gunners boss will attempt to sign his £8million-rated team-mate Christopher Samba.
Wenger is also prepared to meet the £17million release clause for Bolton Wanderers centre-back Gary Cahill but will face stiff competition from Manchester City.
The Daily Express reports the Frenchman will also make a double swoop on Ligue 1 side Lille for Eden Hazard and Gervinho, but these two have attracted interest from all over Europe.
But Wenger is also planning for the future and will move for Southampton youngsters Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Luke Shaw.
It is unclear whether Wenger will seal all of these deals but he has enquired into all of them as he has a healthy transfer budget.
Anymore signings will depend on who leaves the club this summer with doubts over captain Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri’s futures.
“Arsene currently has his fingers in an awful lot of pies and it is now just a case of waiting to see what will come off,” said a Gunners source.
“It is not money or transfer fees that are going to stop anything, it depends on the players and what other choices they might have.”
