Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed he has had no offers for midfielder Javier Pastore, despite interest from Manchester City and Paris St Germain.

The 22-year-old has four years left on his deal but has attracted interest following his 1 goals and five assists in Serie A this season.

City are interested in bringing Pastore to the club after losing out to Barcelona in their bid for Alexis Sanchez and being frustrated in bringing Napoli’s Marek Hamsik to Eastlands.

Pastore joined Palermo in 2009 from Huracan for £16.9million but the Argentina international is now valued at £45million.

The highly-rated playmaker is a target of several top European clubs, with Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid reportedly all in the race to sign the 21-year-old.

“We haven’t even received half an offer for Pastore,” Zamparini told Corriere dello Sport.

“I am not aware of (a bid from PSG),” Zamparini said. “We will see Javier’s agent today.

“It’s not difficult to sell him, in fact it’s very easy, but you just have to know which club to sell him to.”
