Anfield show interest in signing in form strike pair.
Liverpool are tracking AIK Solna strikers Teteh Bangura and Mohamed Bangura.
Newcastle United, Tottenham and Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the duo, in particular Mohamed, but could now potentially be pipped by free spending Liverpool.
“I expect that at least one of them will leave,” said agent Patrick Mork. “I don’t know if that’s just me being optimistic or realistic.
“But all players want to move on, and it’s my job to help them.”
AIK Solna pair Teteh Bangura and Mohamed Bangura are not related but appear to enjoy a very healthy relationship on the field of play, scoring at will for the Swedish side and it appears that many Premier League outfits are keen on both Sierra Leone internationals.
Teteh is the more experienced of the two, having plied his trade in the US prior to settling in at the Råsunda Stadium, netting 14 goals in 14 matches thus far this season. The £10m rated pair have helped AIK keep in touch with Allsvenskan leaders Helsinborg but will almost certainly be sold if decent offers are made.
Clearly Liverpool’s interest may be more in Teteh than Mohamed and would be with an eye to the future and to offer back up for current first choice strike pairing of Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll. Clearly the Anfield side could do with added back up as Dirk Kuyt is now primarily used out wide and Frenchman David N’Gog has failed to make an impact when called upon and could well be on his way out this summer.
Liverpool have already picked up two useful signings this summer in midfielders Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam and there is much talk that Portuguese international Raul Meireles may be sacrificed to make way for their arrivals, though the former Porto man is reportedly very keen on staying at Anfield.
Not so keen to stay on Merseyside is Alberto Aquilani who has returned to the club following his successful stint at Juventus last season, the Italian international is apparently the subject of much interest back in Serie A with the likes of Fiorentina and AC Milan supposedly ready to make an offer.
Paul Konchesky is said to be on his way to Leicester City and one would imagine that Christian Poulsen, Joe Cole and Milan Jovanovic will also be offloaded this summer.
