Chelsea have arrived in Malaysia to kick-start their pre-season tour and were greeted by hundreds of screaming supporters.

The 26-man squad landed at 1pm local time after a 13-hour flight with a mixture of experience and fresh faces.

Brazilians Ramires and David Luiz were the only big-name absentees as they are still on international duty.

Daniel Sturridge, Josh McEachran, Ryan Bertrand and Patrick van Aanholt will all hope to use these fixtures as a chance to impress new boss Andre-Villas-Boas.

Four youth players have also travelled who are yet to play a competitive game for Chelsea.

Jamal Blackman, 17, last season’s FA Youth Cup campaign goalkeeper and Nathaniel Chalobah, 17, England U17s’ skipper will hope to get some match time.
