The rules are basic too.

Pick a squad of 15 players with a £100million budget (four players/Premier League team) and put them into a formation.

Today we are looking at strikers and have given you our choice of expensive, mid-range and bargain deals.

When selecting your team’s firepower, certain criteria (and formation) have to be considered in order to gain points.

They can gain points by scoring a goal (25) with a bonus of 25 for getting a hat-trick, assists (10), a shot on target (5), and for every pass completed in the final third (1).

Points are also earned by starting a game (15), coming off the bench (5) and for every 10 minutes he is on the pitch (1).

They can lose points if they miss a penalty (-10), score an own goal (-25), handle the ball (-5), and receive a yellow (-10) or a red card (-25).

Expensive: Robin van Persie (Arsenal) – price: £9.8m

He may be injury prone, but when he is fit he is one of the best strikers in the Premier League. His 18 goals and seven assists came in 19 starts last season, no one else can match those stats.
