Bloomfield Road star on his way to Loftus Road.
Balckpool have confirmed they have accepted a £1.25million bid from Queens Park Rangers for striker DJ Campbell.
The 29-year-old has been a target for the Premier League new boys all summer and manager Neil warnock has finally got his man.
Rangers have triggered a release clause in Campbell’s Blackpool contract, which had a year left to run.
He will become QPR’s fourth summer signing, following Jay Bothroyd, Kieron Dyer and Danny Gabbidon.
Campbell joined Blackpool following their promotion last summer but, despite the club making a flying start to their first Premier League season, they were relegated on a dramatic final day.
They swapped places with QPR, who won the Championship to return to the top flight for the first time since 1996.
“The club have had a bid for Blackpool striker DJ Campbell accepted by the Seasiders,” a QPR statement read.
“The Tangerines frontman, who scored 13 goals in 31 appearances in the Barclays Premier League last season, will now discuss personal terms with the R’s over the coming days, ahead of a potential move to Loftus Road.”
