Reebok Stadium welcomes new boy.
Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Wolfsburg forward Tuncay Sanli on a season-long loan.
The 29-year-old only played in Germany for six months after leaving Stoke City following a disappointing 18 months at the Britannia Stadium.
But the Turkey international has made a swift return to the Premier League with Owen Coyle’s side but he will not be registered in time to play against QPR tomorrow.
If Tuncay’s season-long loan deal is a success Bolton have the option to sign him permanently.
“I had good talks with the manager and we spoke a lot about football and his ambitions for the club and I wanted to be part of that,” Tuncay said.
Bolton boss Coyle was pleased to have brought some variety and experience into his side.
“We are delighted to have secured the loan for Tuncay,” he said.
“He has great experience added to the proven quality he possesses. We are pleased to have brought him to our club.”
Meanwhile Coyle has admitted he is yet to receive an offer for defender Gary Cahill, with both Arsenal and Liverpool interested in the England international.
