White Hart Lane boss tracks former Emirates Stadium man.
Tottenham Hotspur could make a January transfer move for Jose Antonio Reyes, in an attempt to bring the Spanish player back to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has attracted interest from AC Milan and Sevilla, as his current club Athletic Madrid look keen to sell the player who has been at the Vincente Calderon since 2009 after impressing at rivals Real Madrid whilst on loan from Arsenal.
Reports in Spain are claiming Harry Redknapp who is thought to be a long term admirer of the former Arsenal player could be readying a bid for Reyes who is thought to be keen on a return to the Premier League.
Galatasaray are also thought to be keen on the player who could cost any club interested in the region of £10 million with Tottenham thought to be the front-runners to any deal.
Jose Antonio Reyes didn’t have the best of times at Arsenal during his three seasons at the North London club but he did still clinch major honours and notch up over 100 Gunners appearances before moving back to La Liga where his career has stagnated somewhat.
The winger had a decent spell out on loan at Benfica and returned to the Vicente Calderon rejuvenated but has since gone off the boil. Quite why Harry Redknapp would be after yet another wide option is beyond me.
Remember this is a club that has excellent first team regulars Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon to play on the flanks and then the likes of Niko Kranjcar, Steven Pienaar, Giovani and David Bentley as back up options.
