White Hart Lane boss hopes to land Bernabeu star.
TOTTENHAM are poised to make an ambitious January move to take Real Madrid misfit Kaka on loan for the rest of the season.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp wants another creative player to add to his stable of ball players and Kaka could be available.
Kaka, 29, is again struggling to hold down a place in Jose Mourinho’s Real side and is set to be offloaded at the end of this season, if not sooner.
Real want to recoup about £30million for the former AC Milan player but their long-standing interest in Tottenham’s Gareth Bale could lead them to do a deal if there is some encouragement that the Welshman may be available.
Redknapp wants cover for Rafael van der Vaart as his club embark on the second half of an impressive season, with a title challenge a real possibility.

Can’t see this happening. Though Kaka is by no means a first team regular at Real Madrid the Brazilian has repeatedly stated his intention to stay at the club and fight for his place and not sure a move to White Hart Lane to act as cover for Rafael Van der Vaart would be that much of an attraction.
Also the idea that Real Madrid would offer the former AC Milan man as a sweetener ahead of a possible deal to sign Gareth Bale would of course have to be tangible and if not why the hell would either club agree to such a succession of events. It’s not like the Bernabeu side would say “Here, have Kaka for a few months, and you know, in the summer we’ll ask you about the young Welshman”.
There is also a good argument to suggest that Tottenham don’t need any more creators and do in fact probably need another centre back and perhaps another striker. After all the North London club has the likes of the aforementioned Bale and Van der Vaart as well as Luka Modric, Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor to help make things happen. The Togo international has already notched up an impressive six assists this season.
