Seagulls boss is worried that threat of fines is turning him into a robot?
Brighton manager Gus Poyet says the threat of being fined by the footballing authorities will turn him into a robot.
The Uruguayan refused to comment on referee Craig Pawson after he sent off two Albion players in their 1-0 defeat to Burnley last weekend.
He told BBC Sussex: “They are trying to make us be robots and tell you what you can say – which is nothing.
“The rules are so unclear. You’re going to get a little robot.”

Whilst Gus Poyet’s comments do help produce eye catching headlines he does have a point. Football managers are contractually obliged to conduct interviews after games and it’s at these points that we assume most fine revenue to generated by the FA. Simple solution. Managers can just turn up to press conferences or post match interviews and simply refuse to speak. Perhaps just sit there and read a book whilst the press throng gets confused.
