Neil Warnock looking to shore up Loftus Road defence.
Queens Park Rangers have today been linked with a triple swoop to improve their defence.
They are reportedly considering moves for Wayne Bridge of Manchester City, Alex of Chelsea and Christopher Samba of Blackburn Rovers.
Despite the big names, the recruitment would not come at a huge cost to QPR – at least in terms of transfer fees.
Chelsea and Manchester City are keen to get Alex and Wayne Bridge respectively off of their wage bills, while Blackburn are desperate for cash and seem open to offers for any of their players.
Wages would be a different matter though, and whether QPR owner Tony Fernandes is willing to finance the players’ salaries would be a different matter.
