Versatile defender on way out of White Hart Lane.
Croatia international defender Vedran Corluka looks set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this January.
The Sun report that the lumbering stopper will move on loan to Bayer 04 Leverkusen for the rest of the season, with a permanent fee in the offing should he perform well.
Corluka has struggled to get into the Spurs team of late.
In the last few seasons, Harry Redknapp has selected Alan Hutton ahead of him, and now the Scotland full back has gone to Aston Villa, Kyle Walker is the first choice in that position.
Corluka, 25, is able to play at centre half as well as at right back, but in the his options are limited centrally too at White Hart Lane.
Ledley King (when fit), Michael Dawson, William Gallas and Younes Kaboul are all higher up the pecking order at Tottenham, and it is now down to Corluka to revive his career prospects elsewhere.
The 6’4″ defender will provide valuable versatility for Bayer Leverkusen and could be a real asset for the Bundesliga side.
