Andre Villas-Boas is among the candidates being considered as the next Inter Milan coach for next season, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
Villas-Boas has come under fire from some Chelsea supporters following their failure to compete for the title this season.
Fans became more angry on Sunday when their team threw away a three-goal lead against Manchester United and former boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with a shock return to Stamford Bridge.
Claudio Ranieri’s position has come under threat as Inter have failed to win in their last four games and have conceded eight goals in just two games.
This would be very odd. Whilst Inter Milan have hit a small run of poor form there will be many who would be very grateful for the way Claudio Ranieri dragged the Nerazzurri from the relegation zone and back into a Champions League qualification spot following the disastrous Gian Piero Gasperini reign that saw the San Siro side lost four of their first five games of the season.
Also what is it with Inter Milan and Chelsea manager’s, Jose Mourinho was of course in charge of the Italian giants for two seasons and now Ranieri is at the helm and yet Massimo Moratti now wants Andre Villas-Boas? Seems far fetched and even though the Blues have had an up and down season there is no evidence to suggest that Roman Abramovich wants to axe the young Portuguese boss.
