Wolves’ star player Matt Jarvis is set to stay in the Premier League next season, with the likes of Norwich and Aston Villa apparently keen on the England international….
One player who looks set to stay in the Premier League following Wolves’ inevitable relegation to the Championship is Matt Jarvis. The winger has been the club’s only bright spark this season and, with Championship football on the Horizon, Wolves manager Terry Connor knows now would be a good time to cash in on Jarvis.
This season’s surprise package have been Norwich, and manager Paul Lambert will be looking to strengthen his squad this summer if he is to guarantee survival next season. The Norwich manager may see Jarvis as a the perfect summer signing, with his pace and trickery suited to the style of football played at Carrow Road.
Villa have also shown an interest in the Wolves winger, with manager Alex McLeish rumored to be a fan of the England international. Villa have suffered a torrid season in the Premier League this year, and the Villa boss will be looking to add to his squad over summer if they are to push for a top six finish next season.
Jarvis joined Wolves from Gillingham in 2007 after an impressive spell with the League two side, where he notched up 12 goals in 110 appearances.
