Tottenham have been linked with a surprise move for Dutch veteran Clarence Seedorf.
The 36-year-old is leaving AC Milan on a free transfer this summer and has six offers from across the football world.
Sources close to the player claim at least one English club are keen to sign him, with reports in Brazil naming Tottenham as making an approach.

This could well be a sensible short term move to consider. Harry Redknapp is keen to add strength in depth to his squad but Daniel Levy may not be so inclined to splash the cash given that Tottenham have failed to secure Champions League football and all the wealth that comes with it, therefore a move for the veteran Dutchman could be a nice stopgap.
The 36 year old is still in very good shape and is clearly still able to cut it having notched up 30 appearances in all competitions for AC Milan last term.
Redknapp could well be looking to bring in more central midfield options as currently he has to rely on Scott Parker and Sandro to fill the defensive midfield slots with Rafael Van der Vaart and Luka Modric on hand to add the guile. The likes of Tom Huddlestone and Jermaine Jenas are either perennially injured or seemingly not part of the Tottenham boss’s plans.
