Italian champions Juventus are hoping to beat rivals Inter Milan to a deal for Manchester City left-back Aleksander Kolarov, reports Football Italia.
The Old Lady are set to bid £15 million for the Serbian, who moved to City from Lazio for a similar fee in 2010.
Inter are also monitoring the 26-year-old who has seen his first team opportunities at the Etihad limited, since the arrival of Gael Clichy in summer 2011.
Kolarov spent three years in the Serie A with Rome club Lazio and would be open to a move back to Italy, although Premier League champions City are reluctant to sell.
Juventus boss Antonio Conte believes the powerful left footer, who is a set piece specialist, could fit into his 3-5-2 system in the wing-back role but favours a season-long loan rather than outright purchase.
