PSV Eindhoven striker Ola Toivonen is interesting Sunderland.
The Journal says Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill has run a personal check on Toivonen.
The Swede has declared he may’ve played his last game for PSV and has also been linked with Liverpool.

Ola Toivonen is currently with the Swedish national team squad at the Euro 2012 finals having enjoyed a fine season with PSV Eindhoven, netting 18 goals, and he may well be a player that Martin O’Neill looks to bring in given that a permanent move for Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner appears unlikely.
Sunderland are pretty light on attacking options and only managed 45 goals in the Premier League last term and have limited options up front that include the inexperienced Connor Wickham, injury prone Frazier Campbell and unproven Ji Dong-Won so a new striker is essential.
Powerfully built forward Toivonen would suit the physical nature of the Premier League and would probably not cost a huge sum and may turn out to be a cheaper alternative to trying to meet Arsenal’s demands for Bendtner.
