Mourinho plans £30m Silva raid as Real Madrid boss renews attempts to lure Man City maestro
David Silva will be the target of £30million bid from Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho as the Special One begins adding to his championship winning squad.
Mourino has decided to table the offer after observing how important the midfielder was to City’s successful Barclays Premier League campaign last season.

This is not the first time that Jose Mourinho has looked to lure David Silva to the Bernabeu and even though recent reports suggest that the Spanish international is very happy at Man City there is surely a slight chance that the pint sized attacker would be keen on a return to his native Spain.
Silva’s top performances at the Etihad Stadium last term have led to a regular spot in Vicente del Bosque’s side at the Euro 2012 finals and no doubt he is on a whopping pay packet at Man City but perhaps he feels that he is more likely to garner Champions League success at Real Madrid, though Roberto Mancini would surely not consider selling the crafty attacking midfielder for one second.
The 26 year old former Valencia man notched up an incredible 22 assists in all competitions last term and is one of Mancini’s most important players, hence the fact that despite the Italian’s insistence on rotating his squad across tournaments Silva has still made 102 appearances for Man City in his two seasons at the club.
