NICKLAS BENDTNER is suddenly a wanted man after his sizzling Danish displays at Euro 2012.
And West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is leading the chase for the striker.
It is all a far cry from a few weeks ago when it seemed nobody was interested in the hitman, who finished last season on loan at Sunderland from Arsenal.

Nicklas Bendtner’s brace against Portugal won’t have done his chances of securing a move away from Arsenal this summer any harm. The 24 year old spent last term on loan at Sunderland, with moderate success, and the big Danish international forward may well be keen on remaining in London and therefore a move to Upton Park may well appeal.
Sam Allardyce has already been linked with some fairly high-profile targets this summer and may well feel his strike-force is not sufficient to take on Premier League defences and therefore has taken an interest in Bendtner. The Hammers boss is known for his penchant for playing with a bulky forward up top and a move to sign the Gunners man may well not cost a great deal.
Bendtner has little chance of forcing his way back into the Arsenal first-team, the 6ft 5in forward was already far down the pecking order before he left for the Black Cats on a season long deal, and since then Gervinho arrived last summer and Wenger has already brought in Lukas Podolski and is strongly linked with a move to sign French striker Olivier Giroud to boot.
