Latics man linked with Stamford Bridge move.
Chelsea are ready to make a shock £10million swoop for Wigan star Victor Moses.
The talented former Crystal Palace winger – currently on international duty with Nigeria – was a major reason why Roberto Martinez’s side beat the drop last season.
But he refuses to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium and Chelsea are ready to step in for Moses, ahead of west London rivals QPR.
The signing of Moses would probably mean the end for Daniel Sturridge, who has fallen out of favour under Roberto Di Matteo.

Assertions that Daniel Sturridge is not all that keen at remaining at Chelsea now that Roberto Di Matteo has been confirmed as a permanent successor to Andre Villas-Boas are not unfounded. After all the Italian didn’t pick the young England man to make an appearance in either the Champions League semi-finals and final as well as the FA Cup semi-final and final.
There has been speculation that the lack of first team action in the latter half of the last term cost the attacker a spot in Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2012 squad and therefore he may well look to move on this summer.
Victor Moses is a talented player who showed he had made great strides in the final weeks of the campaign as Roberto Martinez showed top six form to drag themselves clear of the drop zone. However the young Latics man is by no means as accomplished as Sturridge but Di Matteo may only be looking for back-up options given the capture of Marko Marin and Eden Hazard thus far this summer.
