Craven Cottage side look to land Emirates Stadium youngster.
Fulham are interested in Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as a possible replacement for Danny Murphy.
Murphy, 35, completed his free transfer move to Blackburn Rovers on Monday on a two-year contract.
Wales captain Ramsey, 21, is settled at Arsenal but may find more competition for places as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his squad.

Talk of a move to Fulham for Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey was all over Twitter yesterday and now talk has reached the Daily Mail and one wonders just how much truth there is in this story. True Martin Jol is looking for a player to replace veteran Danny Murphy, but also true that the Craven Cottage boss didn’t try all that hard to keep the Blackburn Rovers bound schemer so perhaps he already has a replacement in his squad?
Jol will have to hope that the likes of Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey do not also leave Fulham, as they too would take some replacing.
Arsene Wenger is not likely to listen to moves to sign 21 year old Ramsey on a permanent basis as he has invested a lot of time and energy into the Gunners youngster. Perhaps a loan move is more likely?
Though clearly Ramsey is still a player with undoubted ability it is fair to say that the former Cardiff City is yet to set the world alight and his performances last term were fairly dour and uneventful and the rejuvenation of Tomas Rosicky could lead Wenger to see a temporary move elsewhere as a good way to keep the midfielder fresh.
Given that Arsene Wenger has the likes of Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Alex Song, Tomas Rosicky to call upon as his first choice central midfield options for essentially two, or at a push three, starting spots and then has the likes of Abou Diaby and youngsters Emmanuel Frimpong, Henri Lansbury and Francis Coquelin plus the possible addition of Yann M’Vila and one can see why Ramsey’s future at the North London club could be in doubt.
Ramsey has made a total of 106 appearances for Arsenal, of which 43 came from the bench.
