Croatian to be reunited with Jol.
Fulham are expected to complete a move for striker Mladen Petric within the next 24 hours, according to the Daily Mail.
The 31-year-old is a free agent after being released by German club Hamburg, where he worked with Fulham boss Martin Jol.
Petric scored 38 goals in 98 games for the Bundesliga outfit and also starred for Borussia Dortmund.
He has 12 goals in 44 appearances for Croatia but missed out on a place at Euro 2012 after an injury-hit season in the Bundesliga.
Fulham are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements after losing Andy Johnson to neighbours QPR and missing out on Pavel Pogrebnyak, who chose to join newly-promoted Reading rather than extend his contract at Craven Cottage.
