Big spending La Liga side keen on Emirates Stadium want-away star.
MALAGA have emerged as surprised candidates for Arsenal’s want-away striker Robin van Persie.
The club’s ambitious owner, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani, is desperate to bring in a big-name player this summer.
And they are reportedly scouring the Premier League for attacking talent as they look to make an impact in the Champions League next season.

Though Malaga have secured a maiden Champions League berth for the coming season and with Qatari owners able to offer a big salary it is still highly unlikely that Robin Van Persie would entertain the notion of a move to the La Liga side this summer. It would appear that Juventus and Man City are the most likely destination for the 28 year old Dutchman.
Van Persie has publicly stated his intention to not sign a new Arsenal contract and now the North London club must decide whether it’s viable to keep the striker for the final season of his deal and lose the player on a free transfer next summer, a move that the Gunners will surely elect to avoid.
Arsene Wenger has already brought in Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski from Montpellier and Koln respectively so there may not be a need to bring in further attacking options to replace the Arsenal captain, though the Emirates Stadium boss may elect to sell one or more of the back-up options that have failed to impress.
Carlos Vela, Nicklas Bendtner, Park Chu-Young and Marouane Chamakh have all been linked with Arsenal exits in recent weeks.
