Emirates Stadium side set for winger switch.
Arsenal preparing for Walcott exit as Wenger plans bid for wantaway Moses
Arsenal are lining up Victor Moses as a replacement for contract rebel Theo Walcott.
The Gunners winger’s deal expires next summer and the 23-year-old is yet to commit his future to the club.
And boss Arsene Wenger is preparing a bid for Wigan winger Moses who shone as the Latics avoided relegation from the Premier League last season.
Chelsea have already had a £4million bid rejected for the 21-year-old but are expected to return with an improved offer.
Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has warned potential suitors that Moses will cost £10m.
Walcott meanwhile is unhappy with the offer of a new four-year deal, worth £70,000-a-week. He wants nearer £100,000 and has emerged as a target for Chelsea.
Wenger is prepared to allow the England international to leave at the right price, believed to be £15m.

With Robin Van Persie publicly announcing his intention to leave Arsenal it seems that another Gunners star with a year left to run on his current contract is being ushered out the Emirates Stadium exit. Arsene Wenger appears ready to offload Theo Walcott and this source believes a bid of £15m will be enough to convince the North London side to sell the England international winger.
Though such a sale wouldn’t leave Arsenal short of wide-men given that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ryo Miyaichi, Gervinho and Andrei Arshavin are all still at the club, Wenger is apparently ready to join Chelsea in the pursuit of former Crystal Palace man Victor Moses, who last term impressed many with his successful efforts to keep Wigan Athletic in the top flight.
The 21 year old Nigerian international has matured into a very effective attacking force and last term he was a hugely influential player in Roberto Martinez’s first team set-up. Indeed Moses started 36 Premier League matches last term, coming on as sub in the other encounters, and his form in the final weeks of the campaign helped keep the Latics in the top tier.
However now the DW Stadium side are struggling to keep the youngster who has unsurprisingly had his turned by interest shown in him by Chelsea and will presumably also be very interested in a move to the Emirates Stadium.
