Craven Cottage side targets Turin based duo.
FULHAM are eyeing up a surprise bid for veteran Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta.
The 32-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Cesena, after being deemed surplus to requirements at the Italian champions.
And Fulham are in negotiations to bring the World Cup-winner and his team-mate Sebastian Giovinco to Craven Cottage, according to Italian sources.
Having sold Bobby Zamora to QPR in January and released Andy Johnson this summer, boss Martin Jol is keen to strengthen his forward line in the transfer window.
Despite signing Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega on a free transfer yesterday, doubts over Clint Dempsey’s future at the club mean that Fulham still require at least one more striker.
But a deal for Giovinco, 25, maybe more complicated as he is co-owned by Juventus and fellow Serie A side Parma.

Whilst Fulham may well be looking to strengthen their squad one wonders if this Juventus pair might be out of the West London club’s reach.
Veteran Vincenzo Iaquinta was strongly linked with interest from Tottenham a year or so back but the White Hart Lane club couldn’t lure the 32 year old to the Premier League, perhaps a year on the former Italian international would be more open to such a switch and Martin Jol’s advances may become more pronounced if he is unable to keep Clint Dempsey at Craven Cottage.
The second of the pair named by this source is an odd one. Quite why Sebastian Giovinco would be Fulham target when he literally only completed a permanent move back to Juventus a week ago is strange in the extreme.
The pint sized attacking midfielder had a great season at Parma last term, netting 15 goals and providing 11 assists in Serie A action alone last term, form that saw the 25 year old named in Cesare Prandelli’s Euro 2012 finals squad.
