Zlatan Ibrahimovic Nears PSG Switch; AC Milan Eye Carlos Tevez As Replacement

Swede to finalise mega-bucks move.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in Paris to finalise his big-money move to AC Milan, according to reports in the French media.

The Swede will become the second Milan player to join the oil-rich Ligue 1 side in a matter of days, after Thiago Silva completed his £30 million move at the end of last week.

Thirty-year-old Ibrahimovic is thought to have cost a similar amount and his arrival in Paris concludes a stunning spending spree by boss Carlo Ancelloti, who has also brought Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi to the club.

AC Milan will use the money to finance a move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, after making the outspoken striker their top target to replace Ibrahimovic, who scored 28 league goals last season.

The Rossoneri have coveted the Argentine for over a year and attempted to secure a cut-rice deal last January. They will now meet City’s £20 million asking price, with Tevez thought to be open to a move to Milan.

City remain interested in Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, but the Dutchman reportedly favours a move to Juventus.
