Craven Cottage side keen on former Bolton midfielder.
The Daily Mirror believe Fulham are lining up a move to offer for former Bolton midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker. The former West Ham man opted to enact a transfer release clause following the Trotters relegation from the Premier League and is now looking for a new club.
Reo-Coker clearly didn’t fancy joining his Bolton side in the Championship but as yet has not found a new club he feels ready to join. With pre-season in full swing the 28 year old midfielder would do well to sign for a new side sooner rather than later or face the very real threat of being left without a club.
Martin Jol may well see Reo-Coker as a cost effective solution to deal with the loss of Danny Murphy, who left for Blackburn Rovers following the completion of his contract. The West London side may also lose Clint Dempsey, who is heavily linked with a possible move to Liverpool.
Nigel Reo-Coker is an experienced campaigner who could well boost Jol’s midfield options and having spent the past five years at Aston Villa and at the Reebok Stadium, the Londoner may well feel the time is right to move back to the capital.
