Fulham to Launch Loan Bid for Arsenal Teenager Ryo Miyaichi

Cottagers fancy winger.

Fulham are interested in signing Arsenal youngster Ryo Miyachi on a season-long loan, it has emerged.

The 19-year-old winger is highly rated in north London but is yet to make an appearance for the Gunners.

Miyaichi spent the second half of last season on loan at Bolton and showed flashes of brilliance in a miserable Trotters side, who were eventually relegated.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is happy to let Miyaichi spent another season on loan but wants the Japanese international to gain experience of the Premier League. The French tactician consequently blocked an appraoch for Dutch giants Ajax for the starlet.

Fulham have now emerged as suitors for the tricky wide-man.

Cottagers manager Martin Jol is keen to strengthen his squad and is not averse to loaning youngsters from the Premier League big boys.

Jol hopes to conclude a deal for Chelsea’s beastly forward Romelu Lukaku in the next week and believes Miyaichi can play an important role in helping push the Craven Cottage outfit up the table next season.
