Baggies boss keen on trio.

West Brom boss Steve Clarke is on the verge of a signing Argentine midfielder Claudio Yacob, reports Sky Sports.

“I am probably still looking for another three players in all areas of the team and you always have to be looking to improve,” Clarke said.

“There’s no point in saying ‘that’s me finished’ because maybe someone will come on the market next week that you think will definitely improve the team, and if that happens you have to deal with it.”

Yacob, 24, is an Argentinian international currently playing for Racing in the Argentine Primera Division.

The defensive midfielder is highly-rated in his homeland and has been Racings captain since 2008, when he was just 20.

He was part of the Argentina team that the 2007 under-20 World Cup.
