Aston Villa And Norwich Lead The Chase For Ivorian Star

Duo in hunt for Nice defensive midfielder, with Fulham also keen.

Aston Villa, Fulham and Norwich are on red alert after Nice midfielder Kafoumba Coulibaly issued a come-and-get-me plea to Premier League clubs.

The Ivorian enforcer is currently with Ligue 1 outfit Nice but is hoping to finalise a move to England this summer.

“I have two years left on my contract,” Coulibaly told Sky Sports.

“I want to move somewhere else. Hopefully Nice will accept a bid for me and I can take my career to another level.

“Playing in England can be exciting for me. I would love that and another league will be welcomed.

“I want to leave on good terms here.”

The 26-year-old has been with Nice since signing from Bastia in 2008. He has just one cap for his country, after making his debut in September 2008 but has not featured for the Elephants since.

Coulibaly has made 74 league appearances for Nice, scoring twice.
